Privacy Policy
Last updated October 16, 2026
ReelPilotte ("ReelPilotte", "we") lets you upload a video or image once and publish it to your own YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat and X (Twitter) accounts, and shows how those posts perform. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why, how long we keep it, and the rights you have, including under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
Data we collect
- Account details: your name, email address and a securely hashed password (or, if you sign in with Google, your Google name, email and profile picture).
- Content you upload: videos and images, and the titles, captions, notes and hashtags you write or approve.
- Platform connections: the API keys and access tokens for the accounts you connect. They are encrypted (AES-256) before storage and never shown again in full.
- Platform data: your channel, page or profile name, picture, follower or subscriber counts, statistics (views, likes, comments, shares, saves) and comments on your posts.
- Billing details: if you buy a paid plan, your plan, payment status and invoices. Card, UPI and bank details are collected by our payment provider (Razorpay); we never see or store them.
- Support messages you send us, and basic technical logs (such as error messages) needed to keep the service working.
Why we use it
- To provide the service you asked for: publish the posts you choose, to the accounts you choose, at the time you choose.
- To show your statistics and comments in your dashboard.
- To write suggested titles, captions, hashtags and summaries when you ask for them (see "AI features").
- To bill paid plans, answer support requests, keep accounts secure and meet legal obligations.
We do not sell your data or use it for advertising. We share it only with the services below that are needed to run ReelPilotte, and when the law requires it.
Services we share data with
- Cloudflare hosts ReelPilotte and stores its database and files.
- The platforms you connect (Google/YouTube, Meta, Snap, X) receive the content you publish to them.
- AI providers (Google Gemini, OpenAI or Anthropic Claude, whichever is set up) when you use AI features.
- Razorpay processes payments for paid plans.
YouTube and Google user data
ReelPilotte uses YouTube API Services. When you connect YouTube, ReelPilotte requests permission to upload videos to your channel (youtube.upload), read your channel details (youtube.readonly), read your channel analytics (yt-analytics.readonly) and, optionally, read comments (youtube.force-ssl). This access is used only to publish videos you choose and to show their statistics and comments to you.
By using ReelPilotte's YouTube features you agree to the YouTube Terms of Service. Google's handling of your data is described in the Google Privacy Policy. You can revoke ReelPilotte's access at any time from your Google security settings, or by disconnecting the account in ReelPilotte.
ReelPilotte's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Facebook and Instagram data
When you connect Facebook or Instagram, ReelPilotte uses Meta's Graph API with the permissions you grant to publish Reels and posts to your Page or professional Instagram account and to read their statistics and comments. You can remove access in Facebook under Settings → Business integrations, or by disconnecting the account in ReelPilotte. See the Meta Privacy Policy and our data deletion instructions.
Snapchat and X (Twitter) data
When you connect Snapchat, ReelPilotte uses Snap's Public Profile API to post Spotlight videos and Stories to your public profile and to read their statistics; see the Snap Privacy Policy. When you connect X, ReelPilotte uses the X API to post to your account and to read your posts' statistics and replies; see the X Privacy Policy. You can revoke access in each app's settings, or by disconnecting the account in ReelPilotte.
AI features
When you ask ReelPilotte to write posts or explain your results, it sends a few still frames from the video (or the image), your notes and your statistics to the AI provider that is set up: Google Gemini, OpenAI or Anthropic Claude, using your own API key or ours. The provider processes this to return a response. AI suggestions are only published if you approve them.
How long we keep data
- Uploaded video and image files are deleted automatically 7 days after upload once they have been published (or earlier if you delete them). Posts, captions and statistics stay in your account.
- Account data is kept while your account is open, and deleted within 30 days after you ask us to close it.
- Billing records are kept as long as tax law requires, even after an account is closed.
Cookies
ReelPilotte uses only essential cookies: one that keeps you signed in, and a short-lived one while you connect an account. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
Security
All connections use HTTPS. Passwords are hashed, and platform keys and tokens are encrypted at rest. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach affects your data we will tell you and the authorities as the law requires.
Your rights
You can, at any time:
- see and correct your details in Settings, and delete your content in the app;
- disconnect any platform account, which deletes its stored tokens and the statistics we collected for it;
- withdraw consent and ask us to delete your account and all associated data;
- ask what data we hold about you, and nominate someone to act for you in case of death or incapacity;
- raise a complaint with us, and, if it isn't resolved, with the Data Protection Board of India.
Send requests to the contact address listed on our website. We reply within 7 days and complete deletion within 30 days. Posts already published stay on the platforms; delete them there if you wish.
Children
ReelPilotte is not meant for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
Changes
If we change this policy in a way that matters, we will tell you in the app or by email before it applies.
